Greetings -
So begins my ecclectic "Fool's Journey" in the Light -- AIN*SOPH*AUR. I shall endeavor to also "shine the light" as a humble hermit stumbling along the path, and today, I wish to write a bit about a Tarot I am creating. I do not yet have a name for it, and would welcome your thoughts -- send them to me via Twitter
@Seeker4Light.

At right, you will see the Fool, and that I am currently using the Pamela Coleman-Smith illustration from the Rider-Waite cards. I believe I may change out the illustrations, but there is much to admire and plumb from the depths of the fine work of Ms. Coleman-Smith -- at the turn of the last century, and so the cards appear to be free of copyright. I believe US Games has some argument with that and shall report on my findings in this blog. In the meantime, you see "copyright" notices on the card image, because I intend to copyright and reserve all such rights granted to the creator of such a work.
My own unique twists and goals for this set, which initially shall just be of the Major Arcana, is:
- That they aide both the newcomer and advanced seeker in their Tarot journey
- That they bring out the underlying accords with other symbolic systems. Thus, you will see correspondences with Runes, I-Ching, Kaballah, Hebrew Alphabet, and the Elements on the cards
- That the presentation is aided and enriched by the use of sacred geometry. I have more to reveal on this and how I was surprised at the collboration that emerged between this geometry and the art produced by Coleman-Smith as this blog continues.
So... this is enough of a beginning for now, and I look forward to your comments here, and on
Twitter.
