XVIII. The Moon
with The Moon come cycles...flux and change....the movement of a circumstance from one phase to the next.
adaptibility is required..situations are always changing. when we arent' flexible, life isn't such a good time.
with The Moon comes the ebb and flow of the oceanic tides. it is necessary to go with the stronger tide than to try to struggle against it.
the moon lights the sky for us during dark time, illuminating hidden mysteries, promptings from the unconscious...
unforseen transformations are at work...natural forces which well up in the night, from out of the depths of the night.
The Moon represents unconscious forces at work, that actions that we take, the feelings that we feel and are ours, the thoughts that we think....all of this passes through us as the Moon shines out from the blackness of night.
a maternal instinct also is a part of The Moon. using caution is strongly urged with the appearance of this card.
