I was wondering if anyone uses beach stones for energy use? I would be interested in how they energy was applied.

hi, re Dan's question for his friend Bobby, Garnet is associated with the astrological signs Aries and Scorpio, it has been known as the stone of inner light or Kundalini's fire, it is recommended that one wear a necklace of small garnet stones so that they move multiplying the effect of the stone. It needs to touch the skin and should be cleansed in hand hot water every month and recharged in the sun, wear it in good health.

as far as the tourmaline , it is a fairly hard stone it symbolizes love and friendship , aka it's affinity with the heart chakra, perhaps his leaving is breaking some es heart? but my feeling is that it was a fault in the stone, and not with something Dan had done

just any crystal, mineral or stone that you have knowledge of, or can find, to be posted under the first letter of the name of the stone.

i don't have much info on stones at all. the ones i've already covered are the ones i know.

i would like to see people add-to the threads, using the first letter...to educate me and the others who are interested in the ones i haven't covered.

i just want to keep it organized by first letter so they're easy to find.

i can do research, but can anyone else answer Dan's question? i don't know much about the "stones."

i'm learning out of personal interest, but good question.

personally, i don't see much meaning in it breaking. crystals break like that...it's geologically the way they're designed, especially if they have a weak spot.

about garnets...i'm not sure. i know it does have strong energy that could overstimulate.

anyone, anyone?

my friend Bobby has a question about his stone that broke. This is what he wrote:

I have been wearing a watermelon tourmaline for some time. It is a rather large stone, set in silver. I may know the answer to this question, but I want to know why it broke. Some background...i am leaving town, moving to pursue some life and education goals. It broke at my going away party. There could have been a simple flaw in the stone...someone suggested maybe I was leaving a piece of me behind...????Should I be worried...I don't think so? any insight??

also, I have an affinity for garnets...Is it dangerous to wear one of these on a daily basis? I have read they are very powerful and should not be used lightly...any more insights? thanks

this will take time. if anyone wants to add on, please do! i want to stick as close to what's alphebetical as possible to simplify.
