Introductions: Myself, and yours too, please...
Hi All -
I'm new here, so I thought I'd pop in, say hello and tell you about myself. Got the idea as I looked around and wondered a bit what each person's goals might be, so please introduce yourself too.
I'm Allen Oldman, a long-time Tarot reader, Tai Chi Teacher, Astrologer, Rune Caster, I-Ching Student, Counselor & Seeker of the Light. I have read Tarot for about 35 years now and the understanding just becomes richer and deeper. I saw a discussion here about the origins of Tarot, and while the printed deck first appeared in Italy in the 14th century, I agree that symbols and wisdom of Tarot are much older because of myth, archetype, icon and how that all plays out in the psyche. I am currently designing my own deck of Tarot Cards which I hope to display here later. I also like Pizza, Coffee, digital photography, and work in web development.
